Dorothy Croft Trust
for Young Musicians
The Dorothy Croft Trust for Young Musicians offers financial support up to £2,000 to exceptionally talented young musicians between 17-25 years of age who are in financial hardship and unable to meet the expenses involved in learning a musical instrument. This may mean contributing towards the cost of lessons, helping to pay for a new instrument, perhaps paying for summer school or orchestra fees - in fact, anything connected with the costs of an instrumental education except tuition fees and personal living expenses.
All decisions are made on the basis of the information received on the application form - personal interviews will not take place. Any potential applicants should therefore try to give as much information as possible on the application form. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high degree of commitment and give evidence of sustained development.
